‘Niyyah’ a term used in Islamic practice, which means 'intention'. Intention is a large part of a muslims life. we do it so often that it has become second nature. It is believed that if a person has good intention, whether they carry out a good act or not, that person is blessed with a good deed.
How does this relate to my work?
Looking back on the last three years, my designs/products have all been produced with the intention of spreading awareness, expressing emotion, importance of human relationships and connections. I have formed a series of multiple projects that fall in line with my lifestyle which, without knowing, influences my work greatly.
